Walk in… dance out!
Aimed at Boys and Girls in Prep – Grade 4, your child will be inspired and bursting with creativity when they leave, we promise to try and keep the ‘Watch this… ‘s’ to a minimum, but we can’t guarantee that they won’t be excited by what they have accomplished during the day!
Lots of activities and new friends!
Offering a varietty of activities incluing performing arts, games, obsticle courses, movie excursions, baking, video making, crafts, incursions and more.
Our NYAHPers love the variety and look forward to seeing their NYAHP friends each holidays.
We have a number of regular NYAHPers that attend from outside the studio, and there are always quickly formed friendships that result in a great time for all!
Our program runs from 9am to 4:00pm each day with the option of free before and after program care if you choose.

New holiday program attendees are always most welcome and what normally starts off as a 1 day attendance results in a pick up that has them begging to come back!
We pride ourselves on creating an enjoyable safe environment where kids can be kids and have fun! Whilst we do work on different aspects of dances, songs or other performing arts in between the other activities, there is no pressure of ‘getting it right’ or a end of program performance that can leave some kids feeling overwhelmed and not enjoying their time.
We are all about a great time, because the kids are on holidays!

My child has never taken dance class or some of the other things mentioned, will they still be able to enjoy themselves?
Yes of course! We cater for those who currently take class and those who are new to this artistic world. There will be some kids who do dance, but have never taken some styles, and some who haven’t taken any. All levels will find this engaging and challenging for their current ability. Once bookings are received, we will pop our budding artists into their appropriate groups. Our teachers are extremely skilled at quickly assessing a group and making sure that everyone walks away feeling like a star!
Teachers & Supervisors
Teachers and supervisors hold current working with children cards and first aid certificates. Ongoing policy training and professional development is supplied to staff. Your child’s safety, enjoyment and well-being are our number one priority.
We make a conscious effort to maintain suitable children to staff ratios. It is important to us to staff adequately. This is why we require pre-booking and only offer limited places.
We also offer a student helper training program which engages older students (12 +) and not only provides them with work experience and training, it provides extra eyes and helping hands for your child (which is sometimes cooler than just hanging our wih adults all day). Our assistants are a great asset to our program and the kids attending love the connections they form with the ‘big kids’.
What time do I drop off?
Our daily program starts at 9:00am each morning and concludes at 4:00pm each afternoon.
If you would like to take up us on our bonus before and after care, students can be dropped off between 8.30am – 9.00am and pickup between 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
Please note that any child/ren picked up after 5:00pm will be charged at a rate of $1 per minute overtime per child.
What do I bring?
- If your child requires them, a Risk Minimisation Plan and Medical Action Plan must be provided to staff on your child’s first day of attendance.
- We provide Morning and Afternoon tea. A big lunch should be packed every day. Our programs are very active, so make sure that sufficient food, high in sustenance is provided. Our staff like to promote healthy eating habits… but we may sneak in a hot choccie or something else spesh.
- A named water bottle.
- Wear appropriate clothing to move in. If you have dance shoes, please bring them. If not bare feet are fine too! All clothing should be named.
Where do I go?
Be sure to arrive with plenty of time. Come to the front door and existing students can use the code. If it is your first time with us, please ring the bell and one of out teachers will greet you at the door. It is a legal requirement that a parent or nominated guardian ‘signs’ each child in and out every day, we do this by checking you off on our electronic roll which is time stamped.
Food Allergies and Asthma
Should your child have any food allergies or asthma, please ensure you inform staff again upon arrival.
If your child has anaphylaxis or asthma, you must bring your anaphylaxis or asthma action plan and any medication necessary. If this is not provided, we can not care properly for your child and if informed after drop off, we will have to send your child home.
